Hey curvy girls all over the world,
The Australian Women’s spring 2016 collections were nothing short of fabulousness. While there was a bevy of Australian designers who showed their collections, one of my favorites was Eder & Berk. Designer duo Anna Eder & Meri Berkopec started their label just last year. They started out with a small collection of silk dresses, wide leg pants, and leather pieces. A few months later they evolved their line into a full ready to wear collection. One of the greatest things about their label next to their designs is that they design clothes for both misses and plus sizes. Yup, they carry sizes 6-24.
Their NYFW debut was a smashing one. The spring collection featured signature silk flowing dresses in bold rich hues and a few in sophisticated floral prints. Both plus size and non plus size models walked in their show. One familiar face we spotted was plus size model Hayley Hasselhoff.
One of my favorite looks was a pink v-neck tunic style dress with a high low hem. An easy breezy pieces that would be perfect for springtime.
The collection also featured a sleek sheer white silk jumpsuit
and a 70’s baby doll style dress with bell sleeves, also in white.
Eder & Berk really designed a collection that compliments a woman’s body. Slits on dresses were in all the right places. Not too high and not too low. They showed just enough skin.
Their take on spring denim was a silk chambray relaxed long-line top and pant set.
As we all know, spring is not always about white and bright colors, black and navy are also refreshing colors to wear during spring. I fell in love with a black sheer mesh cocktail dress adorned with polka-dots and stripes. It screamed sexy and sophisticated.
There was this navy sheer lace floor length dress with a deep v-neck that moved down the runway with elegance. With such a dashing feminine collection that caters to women of all shapes and sizes, I am intrigued by Eder & Berk and excited to see what future collections hold.

Oh and the designers are curvy girls themselves. That’s what I’m talking about. Curvy designers not only embracing their curves but designing clothes for fellow curvy girls. It’s a win win situation.
