I have heard amazing things about IT Cosmetics skin care line but I had never tried any. I have normal skin. In the summers, my skin can be a little oily while in the winters it is hella dry. The first time I used this cream, I loved how glowy my skin looked. For me, this is the perfect moisturizer for winter. It also works beautifully under makeup. I can’t use Confidence In A Cream as my every day moisturizer because it is too rich. After about four days, I saw some bumps on my skin that show up when something has too much moisture for my normal skin. They aren’t fully formed pimples just some raised bumps. If you have dry skin, I can see this being great for you. It is a thick formula that absorbs into the skin and feels light.
IT Cosmetics cream foundation compact has the same intoxicating smell as the Confidence In A Cream. It’s packaged similarly to a cushion foundation. The lip fully seals the product and holds the applicator it comes with. There is also a mirror that has great clarity.

IT Cosmetics cream foundation Compact is available in seven shades. They are all richly pigmented. They also slightly oxidize when you apply them.
I believe that IT Cosmetics needs to improve their shade range. Or they should reconsider the names they give their shades. The darkest shade is not dark or deep at all. On their website, they describe the shade deep as a ‘rich tan.’ They describe their shade rich as a ‘deep tan.’ It can be misleading to people who have deep skin. It’s true that foundation shades differ from brand to brand. However, so many consumers purchase online and having a shade labeled deep when it isn’t makes the cosmetic online shopping experience that much more frustrating.

I had a bit of trouble matching my own skin with these shades. My face is much lighter than my neck and chest. When I wear makeup, I wear base shades that match my chest and not my face that way my skin is one tone. My undertone runs a little bit yellow. When you apply these shades to your face, they turn somewhat pink. Truthfully, I couldn’t wear one shade to get a match. That’s normal though! Rarely do I ever wear just one shades of anything. I can use the three darkest shade as sort of a cream contour.
Cream foundations take some elbow grease to blend out, but it’s worth it! It looks really beautiful on the skin. Rather than using the applicator the foundation came with, I like to use this brush. It has a medium density and longer hairs. It helps to move the cream without making it patchy or streaky. You can gently pounce the brush on your face for fuller coverage or use sweeping motions for light to medium coverage. This is not a build-able foundation, so know what you want before you apply it. When I tried to layer it, the base layer just came off.
The foundation has SPF 50 which makes it perfect to for day time/outside events with natural light. I wouldn’t wear it at night or where there will be flash photography because I would end up with the dreaded ghost face. The IT Cosmetics Confidence In A Compact gives your skin a natural finish. I am just wearing the foundation in these photos and I love how it looks.
This foundation is perfect for cream contouring! Really the only thing I didn’t love about it is that it stays sort of tacky on the skin. However, because it doesn’t really set, you have ample time to blend the product. You can use the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Setting Powder (or any setting powder) to take the tackiness away.

This product looks great on you. I also use IT cosmetics on special occasions and find the CC+ cream great on my skin. I also need the SPF 50 because I am always in the sun.
