ALISSA ON THE SCENE: LANE BRYANT 34TH STREET GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

Last week I helped celebrate the grand opening opening of the new Lane Bryant store in NYC on 34th street btw 7th and 8th avenue. I was so ecstatic when LB reached out to me to be part of their grand opening celebration by styling two mannequins. LB also enlisted the help of Ashley Falcon aka the original Big Girl In The Skinny World for Marie Claire and blogger/ Hello Style host Marcy Guevara. They even snagged singer/host Carnie Wilson (you may remember Carnie from the group Wilson Phillips) to head line the celebration.

You may or may not remember, but LB used to have a store on 34th street but it was closer to 5th avenue but they closed it down over 2 years ago. I am so glad that they were able to find another home on 34th street in a bigger much more brighter space. The new LB store now has two floors for you to shop Cacique and their sportswear.

For the evening Lane Bryant dressed us all in their current spring collection. I went for the printed wrap dress because the colors looked amazing against my complexion and it reminded me of something Diane Von Furstenberg would make. Seriously, the picture does not do the dress justice. Even Mr. J Manuel told me how great I looked.
