Rock a shirt dress

Shirt dresses are a wardrobe essential. It’s one of the most universally flattering styles on any shape. You can literally wear them year round. I love them for the summer because they are simple and automatically give you a professional look. I found this Alice & You navy and white striped dress and fell in love with the stripes. I like to call them corporate stripes. The structure and boldness of the dress is modern, youthful, and still professional.

Style Tip: For long sleeve shirt dresses, I always roll the sleeves up during the summer and I look for ones with light weight breathable fabrics.

I slipped on a pair of green strappy sandals and added a red bag for a fun summer office look.

Try A Tie Neck Blouse And Cropped Blazer

For those cool and breezy summer days a blouse and blazer combo can be fun. This green Xtwo Jean Blazer and arrow printed blouse makes for a fun and unexpected combo. I like to mix prints with colors to show a little style flair at the office.

Style Tip: Pair blazers or tie neck blouses with jeans for a polished casual Friday look. If it gets too hot, you can always remove the blazer and roll up the sleeves on the blouse.

I added a navy satchel bag and gladiator sandals for a laid back look.

For those sweltering hot summer days, all you really need is a sleek, chic, sophisticated dress that can take you from desk to dinner.

Style Tip: Choose a fitted (not tight) dress that skims over your curves. Make sure the dress hits you at the knee for an office appropriate look.

For this sleek printed dress, I went with a pair of strappy sandals and a structured tote.

I added a little extra wow factor to the look with a pair of drop earrings.
