Today’s post is beneficial to both my plus-sized and straight sized readers.
The plus size retail industry is growing so fast. There a a myriad of retailers out there that carry trendy and affordable plus size clothing. Maurices is one of those junior sized retailers that carries misses and plus size clothes. About 2 weeks ago, I was contacted by Maurices to checkout their site and try an item. I happily obliged and found a number of cute casual pieces that are perfect for the upcoming summer months.
I’m all about ease and comfort during summer. Who wants to be tugging and pulling on their clothes. I like to glide around the streets of NYC in a cute dress or throw on a pair of jeans and a top when running errands, which means I’m always on the hunt for easy breezy clothes.
After cruising the site, I found that Maurices is more for those who have a casual laid back style. There are tons of graphic tees and denim with a few chic styles mixed in. While checking out their plus size section, I found a hi-low hem striped dress (You know I love my stripes), which I thought would be perfect for weekend barbecue’s or running around NYC. I also found more cute and comfy pieces that were summer and spring worthy. Maurices plus sizes range from 12-26 and their misses (for my straight sized readers) ranges from 1/2-13/14. Clearly, they believe in the motto of providing affordable fashion for every size.

It’s such a cute and comfy dress. The sizing ran big. When it comes to junior plus size apparel, I always order a size up. For this dress, I had to order a size down. The material was thick and it was lined, which I found helpful.
