Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Fashion week is here and its already 3 days in. My first day was Saturday and my first show of the day was Ruffian and then I had Rebecca Taylor. When it comes to getting ready for fashion week I try to create outfits that are magazine editor themed. I love seeing how magazine editors dress for fashion week. They are never over dressed or too flashy. Their looks are always sleek and chic. Every season I try to emulate that. My day one of fashion week started out chilly and breezy so I thought it was the perfect time to breakout my satin blend rose printed blazer from Vince Camuto. I like to call it my Golden Girls Blanche Deveroe blazer. It reminds me so much of something that Blanche would wear.
I wanted the blazer to be the center of attention so I paired it with my go to faux leather pants from Anna Scholz. I normally leave my blazers open but I thought it would be more of a sleek and chic fashion editor look by buttoning it up and cinching it with a skinny belt. I carried my Micheal Kors hamilton tote and completed my look with a pair of black patent leather peeptoe pumps from Enzo Angiolini. I received so many compliments on this blazer. It was a bonafide hit.
As you can see, I have changed my hair up a little for the new fall season by doing an ombre look. I absolutely love how it came out.
